The AgeCare Executive Leadership Team consists of individuals who provide strategic and operational leadership and direction to the organization’s dedicated employees in support of the Board’s strategic direction and policy framework.
This position reports to the President and is responsible for providing direction and support for all care related programming, services, and initiatives, with a focus on the provision of safe, quality, compassionate care that is resident-centered and inclusive of family involvement. This position also oversees Education Services and is instrumental in helping establish the norms and expectations to guide AgeCare’s unwavering commitment to quality through innovation and the adoption of best practices in care services.
This position reports to the President and is responsible for helping lead our commitment to clearly, creatively, and meaningfully engage with our key stakeholders, e.g. residents, families, employees, partners, communities, health authorities, and government in support of enhancing the services we provide within each of our communities. A key aspect of this position is to work to build awareness through consultation, coaching, education/training, and leadership development throughout the organization and interactively with all stakeholders.
This position reports to the President and is responsible for leading the organization’s Corporate Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Information Technology, and Procurement functions. This position provides both strategic and operational support to leaders at all AgeCare communities in support of the achievement of AgeCare’s operational and financial goals, ensuring sound financial stewardship and optimization of our resources.
This position reports to the President and is responsible for helping to shape and guide AgeCare’s many efforts in positioning AgeCare as an employer of choice for employees through the development and implementation of effective and responsive employee recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives. These initiatives are instrumental in strengthening AgeCare’s presence as a leading provider of safe, quality, compassionate care and services to our residents and their families in each of our communities.
The Corporate Leadership Team is comprised of individuals who provide leadership, direction, and oversight of key corporate functions/services that support our communities and our Mission, Vision and strategic direction.
This position reports to the Vice President, Care & Clinical Services and is responsible for providing clinical leadership and support to all AgeCare communities and our various models of care. Working with Care Leadership in each of our communities, the position supports the continuous development of strong, effective care teams and ensures the promotion and delivery of safe, quality, compassionate resident-centered care while ensuring all AgeCare communities meet and/or exceed regional, provincial and national standards. The position has a key liaison role with Accreditation Canada and Health Authorities in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.
This position reports to the President and is responsible for leading AgeCare’s extensive corporate communications, marketing, and branding initiatives while providing expertise and support to the Board, Executive, Corporate, and Site Leadership Teams on specific or evolving communication needs. A key aspect of this role is the development, review, and management of AgeCare’s numerous communications channels, e.g. website, brochures, pamphlets, TV/Radio advertisements, etc. Additionally, this position serves as the organization’s primary contact for all media related inquiries.
This position reports to the Vice President, Client and Community Engagement & General Counsel and works closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Corporate Leadership Team, and Site Leadership Teams in areas related to Contract Administration and Corporate Policies, including the review of all contracts for contracted services, leases, supplies, resident/client agreements, and Health Authorities service agreements. In addition, this position provides annual education to all staff in areas of legal, legislative, and standards compliance.
This position reports to the Vice President, Care & Clinical Services and is responsible for the development, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the comprehensive interdisciplinary education services of all AgeCare communities. Working in collaboration with key care leaders and managers, this position oversees the education services team to ensure that appropriate and timely training is offered to all staff based on assessed need, ensuring the continuous development of effective care teams and the delivery of safe, quality, compassionate resident-centered care.
This position reports to the Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for providing leadership to and oversight of the Finance and Payroll Teams, with responsibility for managing the organization’s: financial and accounting policies, systems and processes; tax and regulatory reporting requirements; payroll systems, processes and controls; and annual audits. This position provides financial support to each of AgeCare’s communities, with key accountabilities including Accounting, Payroll, Financial Systems, and Financial Controls.
This position reports to the Vice President, Care & Clinical Services and is responsible for the continued development, planning and evaluation of AgeCare’s comprehensive Quality Management Program—inclusive of clinical and corporate services. This position works collaboratively with Executive, Corporate, and Site Leadership Teams in the development of the quality assurance, risk management, and utilization management components of the Quality Management Program, and supports the identification and reporting—for internal and external stakeholders—of key performance indicators relative to quality outcome measures. Within the scope of this position, the Director, Quality Management & Safety has a key role in enabling, supporting and promoting a collaborative culture of safe, quality care services throughout AgeCare.
This position reports to the President and is responsible for leading the development and delivery of a ‘best in class’ laundry and linen service across all AgeCare communities in support of our commitment to provide the best quality of life experience for our residents. This position is focused on ensuring the delivery of a high quality, cost-effective service that will enhance the overall quality of life for our residents in collaboration with each AgeCare community’s Site Leadership Team.
