Loneliness and grief after losing my husband, after nearly 60 years of marriage, prompted me to make a move. I have a caring, but working family, so the days were long. So I came to the Beverly Estate, mainly to have other people around me and make new friends, and after almost 3 1/2 years I have never regretted that decision.
I am healthy and content in my studio suite, with my own personal things around me. I take advantage of the daily activities which are well organized and being able to get out on the bus is another added bonus.
Now I pride myself on being able to put a name to almost everyone as I sit in the dining room, although we get many changes.
My health is still good, but if, or when I need extra help, it will be there!

We knew it was right the moment we set our eyes on The Beverly Centre in Lake Midnapore. It felt like a home away from home. We were so afraid to get our hopes up because of stories about people having to wait for years to get their parents together.
The Coordinator went above and beyond the call of duty in helping to make our dreams a reality. She was an angel to our family during our moment of crisis and we will be forever indebted to all of the people at The Beverly.
Dad moved into the Beverly Estates area and was most impressed by the cleanliness of the suite, not to mention the friendliness of the people. Our mother followed shortly thereafter, and when asked what her favourite thing was, she stated the food.
There are varieties of social activities and we look forward to attending as many as possible.
It is with pride and joy that we tell our friends and family that our parents now reside at The Beverly.
