About this full time Occupational Therapist role:

What you’ll do:

  • Spend 70% of your time at AgeCare SkyPointe in NE Calgary and 30% of your time at AgeCare Sagewood in Strathmore
  • Ensure each resident is assessed to determine their occupational therapy needs and abilities and create an action plan that allows the residents to fully enjoy life
  • Engage and inspire a team of Therapy Aides in being their best in their interaction with residents and other team members
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and communicate progress with family members

What you’ll need:

  • Completion of an Occupational Therapy program from a Canadian accredited post secondary institution
  • Active registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
  • Previous Occupational Therapy experience in a health care facility preferred; experience in gerontology an asset
  • Proven experience preparing assessments and MDS
