Located in the north-east neighbourhood of Skyview Ranch,  AgeCare SkyPointe is a brand new seniors community that has just opened, and was built with the vision of  providing a home-like atmosphere that will reflects the diverse cultural preferences and tastes of its residents, such as their dining experiences and the recreational programming. AgeCare SkyPointe is a vibrant seniors community including long term care, supportive living and dementia care, with a focus on resident and family centered care that will celebrate and support ageing with dignity, independence and community interaction and we’re looking for the very best as the AgeCare SkyPointe team will grow to over 350 compassionate and dedicated team members ready to serve the residents with Respect, Trust, Quality and Teamwork.

This role is a part time role with afternoon shifts on a rotation schedule including weekends.

About this .70 FTE part time position:

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure each resident is provided quality care by working to your full scope of practise, including the supervision of HCA's and LPN's as necessary
  • Become part of a resident / family-centred environment
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and communicate progress with family members

What you’ll need:

  • Successful Completion of a recognized RN program and registration and membership in good standing with CARNA
  • 2+ years experience in continuing care/gerontology environment
  • Annual RAI 2.0 AIS competency
  • Certified CPR at the Basic Rescuer Level
