Personal Care Services are available to residents on an assessed basis; through the Home Care Program. 

• They may provide these services, in part or in total, at no cost to the resident, depending on an individual care-needs assessment.

• The assessment is completed by a Alberta Health Services - Home Care staff member, with input from our qualified staff, the resident, and their family members to identify those services required to meet the resident's care needs.

• The assessment covers such areas as assistance with bathing, dressing, laundry, medications and mobility and other care services.

If you do not qualify for services under the Home Care Program you may purchase these services on a fee-for service basis.

Rejuvenate Wellness Stay Program

"Supporting Seniors - Helping Entire Families"

We offer our own unique and very successful "Rejuvenate Wellness Stay Program" that provides respite, convalescent and recuperative stay for local seniors. 

Even the most dedicated caregivers experience times when they can no longer manage with their care giving roles.  Perhaps there is a long awaited vacation or planned surgery and home just isn't the right option for you. Columbia offers accommodation and care services based on your own needs.

• We design our services to meet your individual needs.  Prior to arriving at our community, we work with you and design the perfect stay for you.

Respite Reimbursement:

Did you know that some fees for respite care can be claimed through the Government of Alberta and you may have some of your expenses reimbursed to you?
