The Administrative Coordinator takes the time to genuinely understand you or your loved one’s needs. In consultation with the management team, they will develop a personalized lifestyle plan, which includes a proper introduction to AgeCare Orchard Manor. TheAdministrative Coordinator is there to support you through this lifestyle change, to ensure that you or your loved one feels as comfortable as possible with transition.
The Director of Care (DOC) works closely with residents and their families to develop and manage their personalized care plan. The DOC works tirelessly to ensure residents are enjoying the highest quality of life and receiving the most effective care, while also overseeing the team of Personal Care Workers.
Our Red Seal Chef leads the dietary team of cooks, wait staff and kitchen staff, directing the quality, preparation, and presentation of meals. Monthly meetings, dietary meetings, daily reports, and resident feedback help the Chef to ensure meals remain unsurpassed, as demonstrated in family survey results.
The Recreation Coordinator has a robust spirit and is often the source of much laughter during socials, pub parties, mystery rides, cooking programs, arts & crafts, trivia competitions, and more. The Coordinator encourages residents to participate in activities, adapting the activity calendar to attract diverse interests and abilities, and to minimize any sense of isolation.
Our housekeeping team ensures that our building is always clean and fresh. They provide weekly housekeeping and linen service with a smile, and are more than willing to go the extra mile to help residents. They keep resident rooms organized, well groomed and of course, very clean.
The maintenance team keeps our driveways and walkways shovelled and plowed, conducts repairs as needed, leads our fire safety drills, oversees elevator maintenance, and performs other preventative maintenance. They are electricians, plumbers, painters, and carpenters all rolled into one.
