Sagewood ~ Supportive Living Program:

Monthly fees for Supportive Living suites are regulated by Alberta Health Services and the current monthly rate is between $1450 and $1650. This fee is for ‘room and board’ and includes 3 meals per day, house keeping, utility, repair and maintenance and grounds keeping. As is standard with all AHS Supportive Living facilities phone and cable is the responsibility of the residents.

Cathy Hume, Director of Sales, Marketing and Communications states “Residents will be assessed by Alberta Health Services and referred to Sagewood based on their health care needs”. Personal and nursing care services are funded by AHS.

Sagewood Estate ~ Affordable Housing Program:

The independent suites will be self contained and are for more active and independent seniors who are able to manage on their own. The 42 Independent Living apartment’s rent will be 10% below “market rate”.  A one bedroom will be $608 per month and a two bedroom will be $821 per month. Included in the rent will be utility, repair and maintenance and grounds keeping. There will be an income test to be eligible for the independent suites as these suites are for seniors on low and modest income. Annual income needs to be less than approximately $30,000 to qualify for these apartments.
