We are a 3 story building that will offer 60 Supportive Living - Studio and 42 Independent 1 and 2 bedroom apartments in Phase 1.

We are pursuing a LEED certification.  This means that the whole building will be constructed with sustainable options in energy and design.  This performance LEED certification has key areas in human and environmental health and will be the first of its kind in Alberta.

The current prices for a studio apartment in the Supportive Living Program – Designated Assisted Living is $1420 per month.  These rates are regulated by Alberta Health Services.

Our pricing for the Independent apartments is set based on 10% below the CMHC base, which will be approximately $608 1 Bedroom apartment and $821 for a 2 Bedroom apartment. 

It is also important to note that in our apartments the residents must have an income of $33,500 - $38,000 or less to qualify for this affordable living community.

The Supportive Living Program – Designated Assisted and Designated Enhanced Living, are when resident's health needs cannot be met on a scheduled basis in their own home or in an independent living community and who do not met the criteria for a long-term care facility.

Residents are assessed and then placed into a DAL residence by the regional health authorities - based on their assessed health and personal care needs.

We expect our community to be open Early 2011.
