Walden Heights Seniors Community ~ Opening May 14, 2012

AgeCare has been designing and building innovative seniors care communities for over a decade.  At AgeCare we believe in holistic, multi-generational communities with "aging in place" for our residents or as we like to believe "living in place".

Our newest community is Walden Heights, located in south-east Calgary.  This location is ideal for seniors as it is within walking distance to shopping, a medical centre and recreational opportunities.  Our newest community has been designed to the highest standard and will offer our residents the full spectrum of amenities, services and care all located in one community setting.

This vibrant community, once fully developed will include:

• Supportive Living (4), which is provided with a contractual agreement with Alberta Health Services and as such our community will provide a setting for seniors who require supportive care services on a 24 hour basis.
• Independent Affordable Housing Community, which provides completely self contained apartments for seniors who do not have care needs that require 24 hour supervision. Potential residents will qualify for through their yearly income and is created low to modest incomes.
• Private Independent Living suites that potential residents may select without Alberta Health Services or an income testing program. AgeCare does have our own health care entry criteria and we work very hard with each family to ensure our community is the perfect fit for their housing needs.

All of our residents will have full access to all amenities and services within our Walden Heights Community. Together we will offer a broad spectrum of housing options for Calgary seniors.
