Valleyview operates under the provincial Nursing Home Act and the Continuing Care Health Service Standards which outlines comprehensive guidelines regulating the operations of care centres throughout Alberta.  Additional we have a service agreement that clearly outlines the details of care and service requirements such as:

• Hours of care and type of care to be provided
• Staffing levels and qualifications required to provide the care
• Care and service quality improvement initiatives and objectives
• Monitoring and reporting requirements
