The Administrative Assistant is resident focused and the first contact for employees as well as Orchard Manor Independent Living Residents and their families. This position is responsible to support sales and marketing of the community as well as providing reception and administrative services while demonstrating professionalism, discretion, confidentiality and with a focus on customer service.

About this Full Time Administration Role :

What you’ll do:

  • Help achieve our occupancy goals through your ability to build lasting relationships with our valued residents and families, exceptional customer service skills, and sales & marketing support
  • Use your strong organizational and basic bookkeeping skills, keen eye to detail, and ability to multi-task to ensure the smooth operation of this small seniors community, including operational accounts receivable/ payable and responding to basic employee inquiries
  • As an ambassador of Orchard Manor, welcome new residents to our community and foster relationships with existing residents and their loved ones
  • Via Kronos, manage schedules, review and correct exception codes and ensure accuracy by established deadline
  • Be resident-centered in your approach and model our values in all of your interactions with the public, team members, residents and their families

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative capacity combined with marketing/ sales responsibilities
  • A diploma or degree in a related discipline
  • Experience in customer service and sales / account management
  • Proven experience in small office administration, with a general understanding of accounting principles
