About this full time temporary position:

What you’ll do:

  • Provide accurate and timely word processing, data entry, correspondence and file management of confidential and sensitive information including meeting minutes, surveys, audits and WCB reports
  • Ensures escalation of information as appropriate by Director of Care
  • Attends, documents and schedules various meetings as requested by the Director of Care
  • Supports information gathering and reporting and provides general administration support to the Care Management team as directed
  • Assists with various HR related administrative tasks such as telephone pre-screening and assistance with the Hiring process for Care

What you’ll need:

  • Health Care Aide Certification or deemed competency is required
  • 2+ years’ experience working on a unit in a medical/health care environment
  • WCB experience is an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations
  • Excellent English language and strong interpersonal skills with a mature, cooperative and caring nature
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to earn the trust and cooperation of others
