About this position:

What you’ll do:

  • Reports and takes direction from the Director of Care in overseeing all aspects of resident care and service provision and day- to-day operations within the nursing area
  • Manages data collection and analysis related to key performance indicators, performance management, and resident relations; reporting to the Director of Care to create the outcomes and action plans
  • Ensures continuous compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements
  • Leads members of the nursing team in identifying resident goals and health care needs; monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of individual Resident Care Plans

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor of Nursing degree, Registered Psychiatric Nurse orLicensed Practical Nurse and current registration with the corresponding provincial professional body
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership position and seniors care preferred
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience involving a multidisciplinary team and quality manager processes
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate required
  • Computer literacy, MDS interRAI and eMAR competency; GPA, Pieces and Violence Prevention training
