About this position:

What you’ll do:

Work closely with residents to implement their exercise programs to achieve the goals set for them
Carry out planned programs under the instruction of the Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist
Respect resident individuality, abilities, worth, dignity and need for self- determination
Assists in the implementation of recreation care plans, calendar of activities, program plans, resident progress notes and program attendance
Perform work in accordance with established polices, procedures and protocols

What you’ll need:

Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Rehab Therapy Assistant Program or equivalent program from a recognized college (Registered with the Post-Secondary Education Commission)
Current First Aid and Food Safe – Level I certificates required
Understands and supports a social model framework
