The Dining Experience

AgeCare residents often list the food as their favourite part of living here. Our Red Seal Executive Chefs and Dietitians plan menus with taste, nutrition, presentation and safety in mind – and meals are served in the comfort of a welcoming dining room. It is one of the many social gathering places in the community.

Meals are prepared fresh daily and include homemade soups, baked goods, and home-style options. They can be enjoyed in the dining room or served in the resident’s suite – it’s your choice.

Oaks & Acorns Montessori Childcare Program

In 2002, Oaks & Acorns made its home at AgeCare Midnapore. This full Montessori Centre has a spacious private outdoor playground and offers a hot lunch program with meals planned by AgeCare Midnapore’s Executive Red Seal chef.

The Oaks and Acorns Montessori Childcare is a modern, accredited facility for children aged 19 months to six years. They offer high-quality, full-time childcare, Montessori Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten programs.

Unique to our Oaks & Acorn programming is an intergenerational Grandfriends program. This brings children and seniors together in supervised activities that enrich the lives of young and old. Seniors act as role models, teaching children important skills and passing on life knowledge.
