From the handsome, intricately tiled lobby Atrium and the rich wood-paneled hallways to the distinctive lighting and warm palette of colours, AgeCare Midnapore exudes a Mission style that harkens back to Calgary’s architectural origins.

In addition to the more than 300 seniors who reside at AgeCare Midnapore, we welcome clients each weekday to our Adult Day Support Program – offering recreation, social programs and health care services to seniors living at home within the Calgary community.

Creating a neighbourhood inside a community

Each floor and key resident room area receive a name that resonates with our residents. This assists them in finding their way back to their suites and makes each area of the building its own “neighbourhood.” A warm and welcoming neighbourhood feeling creates a foundation for friendship and a sense of belonging.

Some of the neighbourhoods are for specialized care models, such as memory care. We do our best to ensure that our residents are living and enjoying life, in the best possible setting, designed for their needs.

AgeCare Midnapore is frequently recognized for its care and service excellence. The Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation (CCHSA) has awarded AgeCare Midnapore the highest rating among hospitals, community-based services and long-term care centres in the Calgary Health Region for its demonstration of leadership and development of partnerships in managing the care centre. The CCHSA has also awarded AgeCare Midnapore a Four-Year Accreditation Award with Distinction.
