“December’s wintery breath is already clouding the pond, frosting the pane, obscuring summer’s memory.”
~John Geddes, A Familiar Rain

There will be nursing changes in January 2019. Not all
neighbourhoods will be affected.
AgeCare is proud to be apart of the BABEL—Advanced Care Planning Project in coordination with the UofC. The goal of BABEl is to improve the conversations that nursing home residents have with loved ones and health care providers, about their wishes and presernces for medial care. Want to learn more about the project? Contact Alexa Grinevitch, Social Worker.
Please be aware there has been a shortage of linens throughout the building. We as family, friends, residents, and staff have to collectively be mindful on how we are using clothing protectors and linens including facecloths and towels.
We will also be switching to clear garbage bags so we will see if we are losing linens as well as any other articles/property.
Let us work together and make sure we have enough to look after our residents. If you are interested in knowing the process for our linen service please contact housekeeping or hospitality for more information.
Dee MacDonald, Housekeeping Supervisor
