Visiting During the COVID-19 Pandemic
As the broader community begins to open, our first priority remains controlling the spread of the virus, and we believe that if we continue on this path – working together – that we can remain COVID-19 free. We ask that families remain strong throughout this transition and continue to be patient in supporting the visitor restrictions that have proven successful. We highly encourage all our family members to take advantage of our virtual visits (phone, video, or email) and outdoor in-person visitation options provided by our recreation team. These visits allow you to stay connected with your loved one and give the residents a much-needed sense of comfort and reassurance during this difficult time.
To sign-up for an Outdoor In-Person OR Virtual Visit with your loved one, please contact:
Between Monday- Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Virtual and in-person visits must be booked in advance to ensure staff is available to assist, and resident care needs can continue to be met. To ensure everyone has the opportunity to schedule a visit with their loved one, visits will be limited to 30-minutes.

Outdoor Visits – These in-person visits must be booked in advance and are scheduled during the week between 10:15 am and 3:45 pm. We are adjusting our schedules to be set days of the week, to minimize movement of staff within the building (as per our outbreak protocols) and to ensure we have adequate staff in place to support these visits:
Monday – Chaparral
Tuesday – Somerset & Sundance
Wednesday – Evergreen
Thursday – Shawnessy
Friday – Bridlewood & Heritage Pointe
Please be advised, we have limited spaces available and you may not get a outdoor booking each week. Our outdoor schedule will be condensing now that recreation staff will be running programs in the neighbourhoods.
Our Guidelines for In-Person, Outdoor Visits:
Due to continuous changes, we have made revisions to our recreation calendar from the previous month. We will be determining day to day what programming will be available in the neighbourhoods based on recreation staff availability.
