Dear Resident or Family Member,
We remain committed to providing updates to our residents, families, and staff at AgeCare. As such, we are providing weekly updates to keep you all informed on what is happening at our communities and organization-wide.
As we move into a different stage of the pandemic, our weekly updates will be sent from a central location rather than individually from each site. You will continue to receive them on Fridays.
We do hope that you find them helpful. Thank you all for your continued support.
Sincerely,
AgeCare Communications
Here are some tips to help protect you from the spread of COVID-19 when driving in a vehicle with others or taking public transportation.
We strongly recommend that residents do not take public transit, as it is difficult to maintain physical distancing and to be certain that the area has been disinfected. Where possible, coordinate transportation by car. If you must use public transit:
Our recreation calendars are back, and many of our regular recreational activities in the community have resumed. Residents can participate in a variety of engaging activities that enrich the mind, body and spirit, while maintaining appropriate physical distancing.

This week’s shout-out is from AgeCare Valleyview
AgeCare Valleyview would like to take this opportunity to thank our Resident Helpers.
Although individual volunteers have been able to return to volunteering at our community, we have relied on the support of some of our amazing Resident Helpers to assist with activities. Their support allows our Recreation Team to spend more time helping residents, particularly those who require more assistance, in turn allowing more residents to join in on activities.
We appreciate them helping us and assisting us in safe manner. Thank you!
