Columbia Retirement Community equipped for boil water advisory

Staff at Columbia in Lethbridge put system in place to ensure the safety of their residents.

To all our residents, friends, and families:

I wanted to take a moment to let you all know that the team at Columbia has moved very quickly to ensure the safety of all our residents during this water advisory.

Our community is well equipped with drinkable bottled water and cleaning wipes. In addition our hospitality services modified their offerings and procedures to accommodate the boil water advisory including not using tap water for drinking, cooking, making ice, and washing fruits and vegetables.
For added safety residents have been provided with hand sanitizer for personal use and bottled water for brushing their teeth.

As always we continue to strive to provide the highest standards of care and have implemented all of Alberta Health Service’s boil water order recommendations.
If you have any concerns or questions please do not hesitate to call me at 403-320-9363 to discuss.

Sincerely,

Barbara Fisher
