To each and everyone of us being a Canadian can mean many different things, some might say they feel proud to have such beautiful provinces, others might agree that all Canadians are kind and caring people. But the staples that stand out to us is our sense of Community, the Diversity among neighbors, and the Equality given to each and every person.
This is why we celebrate Canada Day on July 1st every year and can say that we are proud of our country and what it has become over the past 148 years.
Harmony Court Estate had been a part of the celebrations with the biggest Canada Day Party of the year! The residents celebrated Canada Day on Wednesday June 24th with music by Gracie and the Guys and the Vancouver Concert Band. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment over a delicious BBQ dinner and a cupcake desert.
Family and friends were there to enjoy the festivities and the residents even had a few guests of honor there to greet them and say just how happy they were to be a Canadian.
The party was a great success and it could not have been a better day! The weather was cloudy but cool, the food was as tasty as ever and the music was outstanding. We would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who came to celebrate in this event and share their time with their loved ones and friends. We look forward to next year as it gets bigger and better every year!
As we welcome the summer, we are reminded how hot it can get and people asking the inevitable question “Is it hot enough for you?
