The Origin of Mother’s Day goes back to ancient Greece and the Romans. The history of Mother’s Day can even be traced in the United Kingdom and found it’s way to the United States. The celebration of Mother’s Day is not even 100 years old but now it is celebrated in 46 countries on different dates. People around the world take this day as an opportunity to recognize their Mother’s for their efforts in raising them and for their unconditional love.
