Estate Residents;
Fall has arrived; we can smell it in the air and feel the temperature changing, the mornings are definitely cooler and the days are getting shorter…..okay, on a more positive note— I would like to thank everyone that had a hand in our apple pie making again this year. We had a great team on both days helping and assisting each other in making approximately one hundred and seventy pies. We were very successful again this year with our pie making venture—we sold out of all the apple pies and left our customers wanting more. We would like you to think about what you would like to do with the funds that we raised this year. We can put it to toward recreations programs or a special event—maybe a pizza party??? Or if you can think of something that would enhance our estate community and benefit our residents that live here, please bring your ideas forward.
We now have an active ladies club that will be having an activity, outing , or special in house luncheons or teas. This month we will be going on a lunch outing to Edelweiss and next month we are having a Nurse’s coffee talk. These activities are for all our estate ladies—if would like to take part in any of these activities please let me know.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families .
