Out with January and in with February! Is it me or did the first month of 2017 fly right by? We finally had a couple of nice days of sunshine, even though it was a little chilly, for some nice bus trips. The month of February will take us to an Agatha Christie play called Toward Zero. If you would like to go, please let me know by February 9th so that tickets can be bought before they sell out.
Please join us for a special Valentine’s Day lunch and a music social after at 2:30, on February 14th.
Ali Razvi, a student currently enrolled in Bible College, will be running a bible study group starting this month that will run every 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. If you have an interest in this please stop by and see Ali on these days. You will find a write up about him in this Newsletter.
The last fitness room orientation was about the treadmill and the health benefits of using it. This month we will be learning about the bike and what it can do for you on Monday the 20th. Come to the fitness room and learn how to stay healthy and fit!
The week of February 26th is Freedom to read week. Freedom to Read Week is an annual event that encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom, which is guaranteed them under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. To encourage this we will be having an open house in the Library on Monday the 27th from
12 – 5 pm. Stop by and see the library that is here for residents and staff and run by you; the residents of Harmony Court.
We have a few new residents here at Harmony Court, so if you see some new faces in the Garden Room or out and about, please make sure to stop and say “HI”. As we all know, sometimes it’s hard being the new kid on the block.
Have a Fantastically funny sunny February!
