Greetings Estate Residents;
The leaves are starting to change and there is a smell of fall in the air. Let’s hope that we will have a colourful, warm lingering fall season.
I will be away on vacation for the first two weeks (1st– 14th) of September to re-energize my self in order to bring some new and exciting energy to your activities in the coming months. There will still be ongoing programs and activities during this time, so please come out and meet other members of our recreation team.
Make sure to check your calendars for some of the special outings and events this month featuring Aspen Crossing Sept 5th, William Watson Lodge Sept 19th, Landmark Cinemas Sept 22nd, and a special Mardi Gras party Sept 24th, just to name a few. Be sure to sign up early so you are not disappointed.
If you or a family member would like to volunteer to run a special activity, call Bingo on Tuesday afternoon, or play piano or guitar for glee club, just to name a few, please contact me for more information.
Reminder: we have a Tuck Shop in the Atrium every Monday and Thursday afternoons at 2:00 pm. Vi and Phyllis, two of our estate ladies would be happy to see you come by to purchase a treat or put in a request for that special treat/item that you would like to enjoy – we will try to fulfill all reasonable requests.
Note: All in house and special events sign up sheets will be located on the same table as the bus sign – up sheets.
