Happy New Year to all of our residents and families! This month we are welcoming the new year with lots of programs and some fun and exciting outings. We have a Winter Wonderland Party to embrace the chilly days that you do not want to miss! We will be taking a drive around the country and stopping for Tim’s, having breakfast at Phil’s and then heading to the Calgary Tower to lunch. For the foodies out there, we have 2 in-houses – A&W for lunch or Filipino food for dinner. We have a special art show from our OMA – Opening Minds Through Art program in which we will showcase all of the pieces we have been working on. Whether you’re busy doing programs with us or with independent activities, we have scheduled some programs that you are welcome to pop into as you wish – such as Movie Days, Big Pool & Shuffleboard, and computer tutoring class on Tuesday mornings. Remember to come down to the ‘What’s Up in Recreation’ board for all your latest updates and to sign up for all those exciting outings and in-houses! The Recreation Team wishes everyone a year filled with love, laughter, brightness and hope.

A reminder to residents and families – if your neighborhood is on outbreak, that means programs for your floor will be cancelled, however a staff member will be assigned to y our floor to provide programming as best as possible. We apologize for the cancellation of certain events or programs that many of you look forward to. If outbreak is declared for the full facility events are subject to change without notice.
