Its STAMPEDE time! Living in Calgary we get to celebrate the wonderful season of Stampede each year. We are starting off the month right with a Stampede Carnival on July 5th for all residents, families and visitors. Come out and grab some food, play some games, enjoy the music and don’t forget the cotton candy! If you’re an avid Stampede goer – get on our outing list for a trip down to the Stampede grounds as soon as you can! We will also be going to Denny’s for breakfast as well as an afternoon down in Heritage Park. With lots of activities and events happening outside on our patios and courtyard, remember to grab a hat and dab some sunscreen on your nose! We will be introducing some new programs this month such as woodworking for all neighborhoods,  some new arts and crafts as well as Movie Matinees every Sunday afternoon.  We will also be having a new Bingo Bonanza on Tuesday evenings on top of our weekly Big Bingo on Saturday afternoons. Our new programs from last month  are going strong – weekly yoga, calligraphy and tai chi are always a good time. Our Art Class has been such a success that we have added classes to make it a weekly session – so sign up for a spot! For the foodies out there, we have 2 in-houses – Subway for lunch or Fatburger for dinner.  Remember to come down to the ‘What’s Up in Recreation’ board for all your latest updates and to sign up for all those exciting outings and in-houses!
