AgeCare Dawson, a beautifully designed new state-of-the-art continuing care community located in the beautiful Dawson Landing residential area of Chestermere, Alberta.
A 4-floor, 207-bed purpose-built space designed with comfort and quality of life of our residents in mind, AgeCare Dawson features continuing care services for 111 long-term care residents and 96 supportive living residents in private rooms, their own washroom and storage space.
At AgeCare, we know how important it is to create meaningful relationships and experiences for residents. We provide high-quality, person-centred care where our residents are recognized, valued and celebrated.

Continuing Care Home Type A
A home-like setting for individuals with complex, unpredictable medical needs who are unable to remain at home or in a Continuing Care Home Type B setting. A Registered Nurse Care Leader oversees all elements of resident care. They lead an interdisciplinary team that include Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Heath Care Aides (HCAs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physiotherapists (PTs), Recreational Therapists (RTs), and Social Workers.

All of our spaces at AgeCare Dawson were designed for the safety and enjoyment of the residents.
AgeCare Dawson features large open-concept common areas and multiple amenities, including an outdoor courtyard, lounges, activity areas, bistro, hair salon, reflection space, atrium and balconies.
AgeCare Dawson was designed with attention to detail, emphasizing safety and functionality for our residents, including wide hallways, handrails, private barrier-free suites with ensuites, and an emergency call system.
AgeCare Dawson consists of 6 care neighbourhoods, providing a cozy, home-like environment with private resident suites. Each neighbourhood has dedicated common spaces, including a dining room, quiet cozy lounges, outdoor courtyards/balcony, and TV/activity lounges. There is a reflection space for religious, spiritual and meditative practices of residents.
