Situated on spacious and scenic grounds in Nanaimo, British Columbia, AgeCare Malaspina is a modern 136-suite long-term care residence. It features bright, private suites in a community suitable for seniors with complex medical needs or those requiring memory care support. With 24-hour nursing care, assistance with daily activities and a multitude of amenities, AgeCare Malaspina delivers the customized care, peace of mind and dignity our residents deserve.

The community
AgeCare Malaspina is a vibrant seniors’ community that celebrates and supports aging with dignity. Our community features open, welcoming spaces with common amenities that our residents enjoy, including bright private suites, cozy lounges, resident dining rooms, a hair salon and activity spaces.
As a long-term care community, it was specifically designed to include wide hallways, handrails, barrier-free suites, accessible en suite bathrooms, and an emergency call system.
Outside our building, residents are treated to a landscaped courtyard with patios. Malaspina also enjoys close proximity to a number of local amenities including Southgate Mall, cafés and restaurants, pharmacies and medical clinics, seniors’ centres, and places of worship.
