Amit Varshney is a seasoned finance executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience who joined AgeCare in June 2026. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for strengthening financial operations, leading high-performing teams, enhancing reporting and compliance, and partnering with business leaders to support strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.

Prior to AgeCare, Amit was Vice President, Finance at FYidoctors, Canada’s largest eye care provider, where he played a key role in driving financial strategy, business transformation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth across a rapidly expanding national organization. Amit also held finance leadership positions at WestJet Airlines and Rockpoint Gas Storage, following the start of his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he earned his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation. His broad industry experience enables him to combine financial discipline with a practical, business-focused approach to solving complex challenges.

Amit possesses a unique dual educational background, holding both an Honours Business Administration degree (HBA) from the prestigious Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Electrical Engineering (BESc) from The University of Western Ontario. His unique blend of financial expertise, analytical thinking, and engineering background allows him to bridge strategy, operations, and finance to support organizational growth and innovation.

Outside of work, Amit enjoys spending time with his family and friends, staying active, and following hockey—particularly cheering on the Edmonton Oilers.
