Grant Lawford’s diverse career spans industries such as broadcasting and automotive manufacturing, but it is his 18 years in the senior living sector where he truly found purpose and meaning.

During his time in the senior living field, Grant has realized how important it is to enhance and engage employees’ work environments, recognizing how this can directly improve the lives of residents.

In his role as Vice President of Human Resources at AgeCare, Grant leads the HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, HR Services, and Compensation and Benefits teams across the organization.

With a strong history of optimizing team processes and delivering measurable business results, Grant is driven by a leadership philosophy that emphasizes transparency, inclusivity, and accountability, all while encouraging innovation.

Grant is excited to bring his people-focused strategies to AgeCare, working to foster collaboration, engagement, and sustainable growth to improve the well-being of residents.

Outside of work, Grant values time spent with his family—his wife, three adult children, and dog Hailey. He enjoys hiking, fishing while spending time in Algonquin Park, and at home he tends to a collection of palm trees that he’s nurtured from seeds over the past two decades (yes, palm trees in Canada!).
