Lisa Smith is guided by the belief that exceptional long-term care is built on meaningful relationships, engaged teams, and a relentless focus on resident experience. Having spent nearly three decades in long-term care, she is deeply committed to creating environments where residents feel valued, staff feel supported and every moment truly matters.

Lisa began her career as a nursing student and, after graduating as a Registered Nurse, progressed through multiple frontline and leadership roles including her promotions at AgeCare from Manager, Imagine Program to Director, Regional Operations and currently Vice President – Operations. She has completed education in long-term care and healthcare management, combining clinical expertise with operational insight. This hands-on experience continues to shape her leadership approach—one rooted in trust, accountability and practical solutions that support both quality outcomes and staff well-being.

She led the development of Imagine, a dementia care strategy focused on ensuring every interaction is meaningful and recognizing that small moments can have a profound impact on residents, families and team members alike.

Lisa is known as a collaborative, people-centred leader who believes strong teams create strong homes. Her passion for long-term care is matched by her dedication to fostering cultures where compassion, consistency and respect are embedded in everyday practice.
