National Nursing Week: Nursing teams leading the way to healthier, happier seniors.

16 May 2014

Every day, residents of our community rely on the compassion and expertise of nursing professionals.

“Our nursing department provides quality nursing care through a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to meet the individual needs of each resident,” says Dr. Kabir Jivraj AgeCare’s Managing Director. “Nursing staff assist our residents to meet their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs so they can realize the best quality of life possible.”

Nursing Week is a time to recognize the year-round commitment and achievements of nurses and to recognize their contributions to the well-being of Canadians. Our nursing teams are truly Leading the Way to healthier, happier seniors. With the help of this dedicated team, AgeCare communities have become known and respected for their quality personnel and professional care.

“I am again reminded how important it is to recognize and celebrate the commitment that our nurses have to provide the highest quality of care for the residents they care for,” says Dr. Hasmukh Patel AgeCare’s Chief Executive Officer. “I am very proud of what they do and the difference they make in the lives of our residents.”
