Patient Experience Award for MAID Program

24 March 2022

In 2021, the Health Quality Council of Alberta (HQCA) presented AgeCare with a Patient Experience Award for our Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) service. We invite you to view the MAID video we created in collaboration with HQCA, illustrating our MAID program and highlighting the dedicated staff who make MAID possible at AgeCare.

We take pride in understanding what matters to our residents and their loved ones, and we make it our mission to do all we can to meet those needs and preferences. Patient-centred care is a cornerstone of our Philosophy of Care and Service, and it is a privilege to respect and honour the values and rights of residents who choose this compassionate end-of-life alternative.
